What inspired you to start your business?
Necessity is the mother of invention. I had a year long bout with BV (bacteria vaginosis) that wouldn’t go away. I went to sleep one night, had a dream and my ancestor gifted me with the formula for a wash that would help me with my issues. I woke up, made the formula and within two days my symptoms cleared up. That was how The Honey Pot Company began.

Determined, Passionate, Fearless.
What women inspire you?
My mother, my team, fellow business owners and entrepreneurs like Melissa Butler of The Lip Bar and Pinky Cole of SluttyVegan.
What do you see as the coolest or most important trend in your industry?
That women are creating the products and innovating for women’s bodies and needs. Also that healthy, natural feminine care is becoming mainstream.
As a business owner, what keeps you up at night?
Keeping the train on the tracks and ensuring that I am being true to myself and to my team.
How do you define success?
Success is being able to live your truth and to love yourself even when you’re not at your best. I strive for that type of success on a daily basis.
What’s the best way to start your day?
I always start with prayer and meditation. Also working out first thing in the morning is super helpful and gets your day moving in the right direction.
How do you unwind after a long workday?
I love to cook and listen to some good music. I also take walks with my dogs and spend time with my friends and loved ones.
