What inspired you to start your business?
Britt and I really wanted to start something from the ground up and love to cook and entertain so we kept coming back to food. We wanted to share a dip we’ve been making for our own parties with the world because there was nothing like it on the market.
What advice would you give to other women entrepreneurs?
Go for it! Research your industry and reach out to talk to other people that have been in it. We’ve had such a positive response in the foods industry with other entrepreneurs to help and coach us.

What do you see as the coolest or most important trend in your industry?
The attention big companies and consumers are giving to small start ups.
What do you love about being a business owner?
I love watching the hard work and passion that my team and I have invested come to life. I love knowing that I can create a lifestyle that works for me and my family.
As a business owner, what keeps you up at night?
Tackling everything on the to-do list. We both work full-time day jobs and have young kids, so it’s a balance and there’s never enough time in the day to get everything done!
What do you love about being a business owner?
The reward from a success for what you built is so much greater when it’s your own company.
How do you define success?
Maintaining a living while doing something you love.
If you didn’t have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time?
Spend more time with our kids.
